Coffee won’t give you extra energy. Here's what happens instead

Guwahati: Though many in the tea world might not appreciate it, in Rome, the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) hosted coffee tasting sessions alongside celebrations for International Tea Day (ITD) on Tuesday, attended by representatives of tea-producing countries.

There has long been a heated debate about which beverage is better: tea or coffee. Numerous studies have been published on the topic. Tea is the second most widely consumed drink around the world after water.

The theme for the 2024 International Tea Day focused on women’s vital roles in the tea industry and how to overcome the challenges they face. A number of events were held worldwide to mark the occasion.
