Nagaland's capital deserted as state-wide indefinite shutter down begins

Kohima: The bustling streets of Kohima, Nagaland’s capital city, wore a deserted look for the second consecutive day as the state entered an indefinite shutter down starting Saturday.

On Friday, the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI), in solidarity with the indefinite shutter down announced by the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI), observed 12-hour shutter down from 6AM to 6PM.

The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CNCCI), on Friday evening, announced its decision to observe a state-wide shutter down.
