Kohima: Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio launched the first phase of the ‘common scholarship portal’ on the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day at Secretariat Plaza in Kohima on Thursday.
In pursuance of the cabinet decision to provide a centralised window for all state scholarships, the department of information technology & communication came out with the ‘common scholarship portal’ in a phased manner.
The first phase shall consist of development of the website; enable one-time user registration with email verification; development of e-forms for various scholarships; enable online submission of e-forms; and generation of QR and BAR codes for verification.
