Palasbari (Assam): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday slammed the Congress saying that successive governments of the grand old party have given unemployment, insurgency, violence and infiltration to Assam.
Chouhan, while addressing an election rally at Palasbari in Kamrup district, said that Assam witnessed development only after the BJP-led government came to power in the state in 2016.
“The Congress had ruled Assam for so many years. What did they give to the state? Their successive governments gave only unemployment, insurgency, violence and infiltration,” he said.
