CPIM-Congress alliance not natural: Pradyot Debbarman 

Agartala: Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, the royal scion and founder of the TIPRA Motha Party, on Saturday, claimed that the alliance between CPIM and Congress is not “natural”. According to him, bringing loyal voters of both parties together for elections is a tough task which the opposition grouping is up to. 

Speaking to media persons shortly after chairing a joint meeting of the BJP, TIPRA Motha and IPFT, Pradyot Debbarman said,” The Congress and CPIM fought each other for years. Bringing the vote bank into one platform is a challenge they need to address. On the other hand, BJP and IPFT and TIPRA Motha workers are working quite smoothly and coherently to ensure victory of the BJP candidates backed by the coalition.”

Debbarman also mentioned that IPFT and TIPRA Motha have a common ideological agenda and want development to be omnipresent in the tribal areas of the state.
