The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given clearance for Greenko Energies Private Limited to acquire additional shares in Sikkim Urja Limited.
The deal will help the company in its efforts to implement a 1200 MW hydropower project in North Sikkim.
The proposed acquisition will allow Greenko Energies to obtain a greater stake in the project, which is expected to generate 6 units of 200 MW each.
