Gangtok: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Golay has revealed ambitious plans for the development of cricket infrastructure in Namchi district, announcing the construction of two stadiums in Kitam village and Yangang respectively.
The announcement comes amidst efforts to bolster sports facilities in the region, with Sikkim already having a dedicated cricket ground hosting Ranji trophy matches in Mining, near Rangpo town in Pakyong District.
Addressing attendees at the ongoing Jan Bharosha Samellan in Kitam ground, CM Golay outlined his vision for the future of cricket in Sikkim.
