Train services hit after engine derails in Assam

Several trains have been cancelled or shortened due to the derailment of an engine of a goods train between Jatinga Lampur and New Harangajao stations on the Lumding division of N.F. Railway said a statement from the railway authorities on Thursday.

The statement said that the derailment has significantly impacted the operations of several trains. The authorities said that they are actively engaged at the site to expedite the restoration of train services.
