‘Dil Bechara’ is an official remake of the Hollywood movie 'The Fault In Our Stars'

Guwahati: Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie, Dil Bechara, has received a phenomenal response since its release on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar on July 24.

As movie halls are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film had to be released digitally. Nonetheless, the movie garnered more than 95 million views in 24 hours, as per reports.

To work out a rough estimate, if the movie had released theatrically, then assuming Rs 200 per ticket, then opening day collection of Dil Bechara would have shattered all box office collections with a figure of Rs 1,900 crore.

Several big names have been summoned by Mumbai Police regarding the actor’s death, including filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mahesh Bhatt, and Aditya Chopra. Karan Johar will also be called in for questioning later this week.
