Imphal:The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has successfully launched open web steel girders along the 555-m-long and over 100-m-high rail bridge over Barak river as part of the upcoming Jiribam-Imphal railway line in Manipur’s Tamenglong district.
Declared as a national project, the latest development is termed as a significant milestone for Manipur that will connect it to the rest of the country by rail network.
With this, Manipur will soon take its position on the Indian Railways’ map.
