Guwahati: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a significant decision ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by replacing its sitting MP, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, with Tashi Gyalson as its candidate for the Ladakh constituency.
The polling for Ladakh is scheduled to take place in the fifth phase on May 20.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal emerged victorious, defeating independent candidate Sajjad Hussain by a margin of 10,930 votes.
