Kohima: Japan’s Ambassador to India, Suzuki Hiroshi, on Wednesday inaugurated the Kohima Peace Memorial and laid the foundation stone for an under-construction Eco-Park in Kohima, Nagaland.
The ambassador, along with Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio also planted trees.
In his address, Ambassador Hiroshi pointed out the significance of the Kohima Peace Memorial, which pays homage to the victims of the devastating Battle of Kohima during World War II.
