Nagaland: NSDMA issues weather alert; heavy rains expected

Kohima: The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has issued a weather advisory for the coming days, warning residents of the state to prepare for light to heavy rainfall accompanied by other pre-monsoon activities.

The weather conditions are expected to be fairly widespread and may last till April 21, 2024.

According to the NSDMA, Nagaland is likely to experience partly cloudy moderate rainfall from the April 19-23 in various districts including Chumoukedima, Dimapur, Jalukie, Noklak, Kohima, Mon, Peren, Phek, Shamator, Tseminyu, and Zunheboto.
