From wildlife conservation to making donations in the name of the star, BTS ARMY has left no stone unturned to make Jungkook feel special on his 24th birthday while making the world a better place.
ARMY (Adorable Representative MC for Youth) have always been known for spreading love, peace and harmony on twitter but they are now contributing to some real social challenges.
One of the most iconic cults is now taking a number of initiatives to help the needy on the occasion of their beloved singer’s birthday.
ARMY in Egypt
“Celebrating #JungkookDay our Fanbase @Eagle_Egypt_BTS donated by 4.000 LE to help man with liver disease who can’t afford medical care.. The donation is under the name of JEON JUNGKOOK. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING OUR JK,” read a tweet from an Egyptian fan account.
ARMY in America
“Birthday Gift for Jungkook Part 1: In honor of Jungkook’s upcoming birthday, I’ve donated $75 under his name to North Shore Animal League to help rescue defenseless pets from overcrowded shelters with unsafe environments along with helping give them the treatments they need,” tweeted a Jungkook fan from America as part 1 of his birthday present.
“Birthday Gift For Jungkook Part 2: In honor of Jungkook’s upcoming birthday, I’ve donated $100 to A Chance In Life to support programs in India that have been struggling and forced to close due to COVID-19,” she wrote in another tweet.
ARMY in Asia
An Asian community of K-Pop fans that go by the name of @JungkookAsia_ tweeted that donations have been made to different Charity institutions in 5 different countries namely, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodian, Pakistan and Indonesia.
In a bid to protect wildlife, Jungkook Asia fans adopten animals through the World Wildlife Fund. “Jungkook Asia has adopted a Pygmy Rabbit and a Kangaroo in behalf of Jungkook through World Wildlife Fund. This will help protect and conserve the species in the future,” read the tweet.
Army in South Africa
“Celebrating our Golden Maknae’s birthday, this September we are going Gold. In support of Childhood Cancer awareness Month, we’ve made a donation in Jeon Jungkook’s name to @CHOCfoundation South Africa,” tweeted @bangtanmoonlig2, a BTS fan account from South Africa.
Army in Nigeria
“To celebrate BTS Jungkook’s birthday in Nigeria, we collaborated with @BangtanAngelNG. Donations were made to Ace Charity Organization to support their goals to provide quality education for underepresented children in Africa,” tweeted an ARMY account from Nigeria that made donations for another noble cause of educating children.
Army in Malaysia and Singapore
Fans also rented billboards across the globe and embellished pictures of Jungkook to wish him a very 24th birthday.
