Northeast Launchpad is a landmark initiative of InstaMojo that provides a platform for all aspiring entrepreneurs from the region to work towards achieving their dreams. Northeast Launchpad is the biggest online B-plan event in the Northeast.

The event assisted participants in realising their goals of starting an eCommerce business or a food delivery business. Up to Rs 10 lakh in perks and a cash grant of Rs 50,000 was awarded to the winner.

The B-Plan competition was designed to give all entrepreneurs a real-world experience to fine-tune their business goals. Some of the brightest minds in the field advised the entrepreneurs on online selling, marketing, compliance, and funding. They also assisted them in honing their elevator presentations in order to raise funds and commercialise their product.

Here is the list of top participants in the Northeast Launchpad event. 

KA Design

KA DESIGN was founded in Guwahati in 2016 by Karishma Kakoti, who, back then, was based out of Bangalore and decided to open a branch office here. The studio has young talented designers working under expert guidance. KA DESIGN is not only limited to interiors, but also offers a range of products from furniture with concepts to wine bottle designs for gifting purposes.

Amis Handmade

Amis handmade accessories offer a wide range of traditional and non-traditional handmade accessories such as earrings, necklace/neckpiece, hairpins, brooches, bow ties, embroidered products. At present, they offer services for various events like custom-made sets for weddings, anniversaries, parties and even for casual everyday wear. They first started on Instagram as an online business.

Secrets Cosmetics

Secrets Cosmetics is a team of three persons based out of Ukhrul, Manipur. They are completely turning to nature to bring skincare products that are great for the skin and the environment and do no harm. According to the team, every ingredient they use has a unique therapeutic purpose, giving each product a rare potency to solve skin concerns or needs.

Tynrai

Tynrai aims to bring hill food to the mainstream market through preservation, which is one of the main culinary habits of the hill tribes of India, especially the Northeastern states. Tynrai aims to be a sole proprietorship focused on the unique and seasonal ingredients of the Northeast, and Meghalaya in particular. Tynrai wants to promote local produce, focus and empower local farmers and shall be based out of Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya.

CropZo

Cropzo is a B2B marketplace that will take orders from hotel chains and retailers. Cropzo associated farmers will be handled by their executives for smooth ordering and payment. Cropzo’s entire process will be symbiotic. Cropzo believes that agriculturally, India in general, and Assam in particular, has a lot of value that is yet to be unlocked.

Indiluv Honey

Indiluv Honey plans on reducing the increasing encroachment of wild areas by humans by encouraging local communities to produce Organic and Wild honey. Indiluv provides honey that is multi-floral, wild and organic with a more transparent supply chain. Indiluv Honey has launched three varieties of honey – Multifloral, Ginger Infused and Litchi.

KIA Associates

KIA Associates is a team of architects and designers who produce beautiful and functional structures. They take projects that include both new construction and repairs/restorations and also plan, manage, and build multi-phase projects with labour and material support. They offer an end-to-end client experience that includes seamless communication, budgeting, material selection, staffing, on-site organization, and solid, quality handiwork every time.

PampEarth

PampEarth is an initiative to tackle the emerging problem of waste, working on eco-friendly, sustainable and organic products to eliminate or reduce the usage of single-use plastic, which are the main reasons for plastic pollution. PampEarth aims to introduce sustainable and natural products for everyone to achieve the motive of living in a greener future.
