GANGTOK: Road expansion on Singtam-Rabong road in South Sikkim was marred by a massive landslide on Friday caught on camera.
The footage shows that some labourers were working to restore the damages of minor slides, when a major landslide took place.
While landslides are likely during the monsoon season, this slide in February exhibits how fragile the mountains are due to excavation for roads.
No casualties have been reported so far.
