Imphal: Bollywood star, Kangana Ranaut, delighted her fans in a Manipuri ‘Phanek’, a silk sarong. She paired with a matching sequenced blouse and a hand woven silk wrap designed by a well-known designer from Manipur.
The Queen actor on Tuesday celebrated her 1 million followers on the micro-blogging site Twitter, in which she talked about the Indian handlooms and traditions. The quintessential star, who is known for her no-nonsense attitude, also urged her followers to promote Indian fashions and its vibrant textiles.
Dressed in a traditional Manipuri outfit designed by an Imphal-based designer Robert Naorem, Kangana speaks about our fashion choices which are highly inspired by the European style of clothing while we tend to neglect our own.
