Nagaland: Kargil War martyr Capt Neikezhakuo Kenguruse remembered

Kohima: On 21st Kargil Vijay, the Assam Rifles commemorated the supreme sacrifice of all martyrs who laid down their lives during Kargil War 1999 (Operation Vijay).

The headquarters of the IGAR (N) on Sunday organised a ceremony at the Memorial of Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse, an official update said. Capt Neikezhakuo Kenguruse was awarded the Mahavir Chakra posthumously.

Major General VPS Kaushik, SM, Inspector General Assam Rifles (North), ranks of the formation, well-wishers and family members of Captain N Kengurusue, along with ex-servicemen paid homage at his memorial at Pheza, which is located near his native village Nerhema.
