Agartala: Tripura royal scion and ‘The Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance’ (TIPRA) chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Deb Barman is celebrating his birthday by raising funds to feed 10,000 distressed people of the state.
Born in 1978, Pradyot is the youngest child born to Late Kirit Bikram Kishore Deb Barman and Bibhu Kumari Devi. He is a well-known public figure not only in Northeast India but across India for his long association to different political and non-political posts.
On the occasion of his 42th birthday, Pradyot in a video message for his fans and well wishers asked all to help the needy instead of bursting bombs and cutting cakes. “I appeal all volunteers to go to all the big Tiprasa (indigenous) markets in their area and clean them properly,” he said.
