Aizawl: In an electrifying announcement for K-pop enthusiasts across Mizoram, the dynamic South Korean boy band, Blitzers, is gearing up for their first-ever performance in the northeastern state.
Organized by Ace Business Group and BR Studios in collaboration with Pink Box Entertainment, the much-anticipated concert is set to take place on April 12th, 2024, at the LPS Arena in Falkland, Aizawl.
Blitzers, known for their energetic performances, catchy melodies, and impressive choreography, has garnered a massive global following since their debut in May 2021.
Despite being a relatively new entrant to the K-pop scene, Blitzers has quickly risen to prominence, captivating audiences worldwide with their unique sound and style.
The announcement of Blitzers’ performance in Mizoram has sparked excitement among K-pop fans in the state, known for its ardent admiration for Korean pop culture.
Lairampari, a fan, expressed her excitement, stating, “I often listen to them but they are still quite underrated in Mizoram. When I came to know that they are coming to Mizoram, I was very excited, but I might not be able to attend their concert as I have to go home after my exams. Many of my friends plan to go and have already bought their tickets.”
Rinzuali, another K-pop enthusiast, highlighted the significance of Blitzers’ performance in Mizoram, stating, “Though I do not know the band, I am quite excited. I am happy that a K-pop band, whether big or small, has found a market in Mizoram. I hope this will pave the way for bigger K-pop bands to acknowledge their Indian fans.”
Since their debut, Blitzers has earned accolades such as the Focus Award at the Asia Artist Awards in 2021 and the K-Global Rising Star Award at the K-Global Heart Dream Awards in 2022. Their discography boasts hits from their debut EP “Check-In” and subsequent releases.
