It would seem that Meghalaya is batting for a white Christmas this year. Upper Shillong and Laitkor areas became a sight in white on Wednesday as a massive hailstorm hit several parts of the state.
The weatherman has predicted thunderstorms and lightning, together with moderate rainfall as well as isolated hail to hit West Garo Hills, West Khasi Hills, Eastern West Khasi Hills, Ribhoi and East Khasi hills Districts on Wednesday.
