Guwahati: The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati), in collaboration with EduRade, a brand under RC HobbyTech Solutions Pvt Ltd and incubated at IIT Guwahati Research Park, has inaugurated India’s largest Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO).
Spanning across 18 acres, this state-of-the-art facility is equipped to train individuals in drone technology, with the capacity to operate nine medium-class drones simultaneously.
The primary aim of this initiative is to advance drone technology in India, in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to establish the country as a global drone hub by 2030, contributing to the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ initiative.
