Why Tripura govt employee wants poison to end life of self, family

Agartala: A day after an employee of the Tripura food, civil supplies and consumer affairs department wrote a letter asking to provide poison for him and his family members due to non-payment of his salary for months, Belonia sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) Manik Lal Das said that it was done to divert the departmental proceedings being taken against him for participating in the recent protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).
