The Mi TV 5X is one of the products that Xiaomi will announce in India on Thursday at its Smarter Living 2022 event, expected to kick off at 12.00 PM (IST). Ahead of its release, the official Mi TV India social media channels have been teasing features of the smart TV. The latest is about its speakers.

The upcoming TV is set to succeed the Mi TV 4X. The microsite has revealed that the Mi TV 5X will come with a metal body and full screen with super-thin bezels. It is also expected that the Mi TV 5X will come with Dolby audio that aims to provide a superior audio experience.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Mi TV 5X will feature 40 W stereo speakers and will support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

The company has also confirmed that it will be unveiling a new generation of Mi Patchwall UI which will come with curated content and also a new ‘Must See’ section. The Mi TV 5X will also come with support for Google Assistant using far-field mics. The Mi TV 5X is expected to be launched in various screen sizes.
