On claims made by VHP leader Milling Parande regarding three big Hindu temples destroyed in Tipaimuk area of southern Manipur, the Hmar Students’ Association clarified that there were 25 villages within the Tipaimuk sub-division that are predominantly inhabited by the tribals, who are 100 per cent Christian by faith.
“There is no temple either big or small in the entire sub-division. There is only one Hindu temple in the entire Churchandpur town, which is standing safe and intact.”
