On the night of April 27-28, a C130J aircraft of the IAF rescued 121 Indians from a small airstrip north of Khartoum (Sudan) in a place called ‘Wadi Sayyidna’, which did not have any facility for it to be called a runway, let alone be used as an airstrip at night. It’s a dilapidated, damaged strip sans any lighting, airport security, water, or navigational aids.
