NorthEast United FC will be playing with a lot of positivity when they face ATK Mohun Bagan in match 37 of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 season at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda, Goa, on Tuesday. The Highlanders will want to carry forward their good form, after a morale-boosting win against SC East Bengal in their last game.ATK Mohun Bagan will also want to get back to winning ways. The Kolkata side has not won any of their last four matches. The match will start at 7:30 PM IST. It will be telecast live on the Star Sports Network, Disney+ Hotstar and Jio TV.

Both sides have not been able to play to the best of their potential this season. The NEUFC camp has been marred by injuries, with several key players missing out. Deshorn Brown will be missing this game as well. Khassa Camara spoke about his added responsibilities in the midfield, owing to Federico Gallego’s knee injury and said, “It’s true, we miss Gallego, he was one of our main players. But we have a big team, we have many players, we have to find another solution because he’s not here anymore. I try to give my best as a player, and if I can help the team to win tomorrow, it would be great.”

Speaking on the mood of the camp after the last win, NEUFC Head Coach Khalid Jamil said. “About the last game, we did good work, but we have to maintain it. ATK Mohun Bagan is a good team with quality players, but we must focus on our game and give our best.

It will also be ATK Mohun Bagan’s first match after Juan Ferrando joined the team as its head coach on Monday, and it will be interesting to see what he brings to the side. The two teams have played each other four times. ATK Mohun Bagan has won two of those matches, while NEUFC has won only once.
