On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a virtual interaction with Indian athletes’ contingent bound for the Tokyo Olympics.

During the interaction, Prime Minister Modi shared an informal and spontaneous session with Indian athletes and their family members.

During the same session, the Prime Minister also interacted with the six-time world champion, MC Mary Kom and had a candid conversation with her.

When asked about her favourite punch, the pugilist said, “Since my natural stance is a southpaw, so hook turns out to be my favourite and I never miss.”

Mary Kom won a bronze medal at the London Olympic Games in 2012 and will be aiming for a final victory run in Tokyo since this is going to be her last Olympics.
