It would be safe to say that over the past decade, we have witnessed the golden age of men’s tennis. What are the chances that we will have three players who are active and at 20 grand slam titles each? Novak Djokovic may have been the last amid the trio to win a Grand Slam title, but there has never been any doubt that he should be up there in the GOAT discussions along with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Sure, Federer started earlier and Nadal is perhaps more known for his sheer dominance of the French Open, but Djokovic is a man of all seasons and all courts.

On Sunday, even as the English wait with baited breath to see if “its coming home”, they were treated to a wonderful match at the Centre Court, with the Serb losing the first set to the Italian Matteo Berrettini. However, champions know their way back, and in no time (almost), the Serb rallied to win the next three sets, sealing title number 20 with a 6-7, 6-4. 6-4, 6-3 win.
