There are 690 active cases in Sikkim while the number of discharged patient is 2,065

GANGTOK: Sikkim recorded two new casualties as a result of COVID 19 on Sunday taking the State COVID fatality to 33.

The two new casualties include a 55-year-old female from Naya Bazaar, West Sikkim. She was brought to STNM Hospital in Gangtok on September 25. She died on Saturday morning with co-morbidities of hypertension, diabetes and respiratory concerns.

Another casualty has been recorded from Gangtok in Deorali. A 68-year-old male with co-morbidities of gout and kidney concerns expired on Saturday night.

According to reports, there are 690 active cases in the State while the number of patients discharged from different COVID-care centres across the state is 2,065.
