Gangtok: After making the country proud in China, Paljor Namgyal Girls’ (PNG) School’s robotics team is all set to represent India in the forthcoming Robotex International, considered the biggest robotics festival in the world, to be held in Tallinn, Estonia from November 29 to December 1.
The team led by Ivan Dorjee Lepcha, coach-cum-mentor, along with three students — Prerna Pradhan, Sristika Sharma and Bath Sheba Lepcha — of Class XII were sent off to New Delhi during school morning assembly on Friday.

In New Delhi, the team will have a courtesy meeting with dignitaries of NITI Aayog on Saturday.
The PNG School team were the winners of Robotex India Nationals 2019 in Ahmedabad. It also secured the second position at Robotex Asia 2019 held in Shanghai, China. It was among the top 100 at the ATL Tinkering Innovation Marathon 2017-18.
