Kohima: In a joint operation, the Nagaland police and the Assam Rifles apprehended two drug peddlers in the Kiphire district.
The two apprehended drug peddlers were held from the general area in Phesami in Kiphire on Saturday, PRO IGAR (N) informed.
Nagaland Police and Assam Rifles launched the operation based on specific inputs.
Ten Spasma Proxivon (SP) Capsules, 29 Alprazolam drug tablets, five unidentified drug tablets, and two unidentified liquor bottles worth Rs 10,000, with Rs 55,000 cash and one Bajaj Pulsar were recovered from their possession.
The apprehended persons, along with the recovered items, were handed over to Aghunato Police station for further investigation.
