US rapper Nicki Minaj’s father died near New York City on Friday night after being struck by a hit-and-run accident, reported by the Nassau County Police.
The Nassau County Police Department stated that Robert Maraj, the 64-year-old was walking on a road in Mineola, Long Island at 6:15 pm on Friday when he was hit by a car.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly left the scene of the accident, and Maraj was taken to the nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on Saturday.
There are no witnesses related to the incident as of now and the investigation is going on, the police reported. Also, the police are asking any witnesses to the fatal crash to come forward.
