A man’s death in the African country of Malawi is creating quite the frenzy on media after a post-mortem report determined the cause of death to be none other than ‘extreme orgasm.’
The 35-year-old Charles Majawa lost consciousness after having sex with a sex-worker and then died shortly later.
The working woman decided to report to the police of the death after speaking with her colleagues. According to the post-mortem report, Majawa’s death was a result of “excessive orgasm which caused blood vessels in the brain to rupture.”
Additionally, police officials have confirmed that the woman will not be held liable for Majawa’s death and hence no charges will be made related to it. The Nyasa Times–a local newspaper–reported the man’s death cause as “died of too much sexual excitement and sweetness.”
Phalombe Police Station spokesperson, Innocent Moses, confirmed that the man had booked a room with the sex worker, but “ended up collapsing and becoming unconscious while in the act.”
On January 7, an Indian man from Nagpur died during sex after the rope around his neck was tightened. According to police reports, the woman tied his hands and legs to a chair and then put a rope around his neck to enhance sexual pleasure.
