New Zealander YouTuber Karl Rock, currently touring Pakistan, came across a delightful 11-year-old boy whose views about India will warm your hearts.
Currently, on a “pre-partitioned India” tour, Rock is meeting many of his fans and subscribers. In one such interaction, he met Zakiyas or Zack in Lahore. While enjoying a meal of Hareesa and naan with his father, the Youtuber asked the kid what he thinks of India.
To which the boy replied, “There are good and bad people everywhere. So we cannot judge anyone.”
Impressed by the response, Rock replied in Hindi, “Haan, Sahi baat hai.” (Yes, that is correct.)
Continuing their conversation about India, the 11-year-old says he has some friends there. He also mentions that his father visited India six years ago when he went to Amritsar.
The YouTuber mentions that during his time in Pakistan, he met several people who visited India. It’s not usually “the other way though,” as he had not many Indian people who had visited Pakistan. He then appealed to his subscribes to visit Pakistan.
Rock, who has a massive fan following in India and South-east Asia regularly posts travel videos. He is also married to an Indian woman and has been living here.
Earlier last year in August, he faced a racist attack in Delhi’s Chandi Chowk where a man called him “Corona”. The cops were called on him, and he was forced to take a COVID test.
However, in July, he donated plasma in New Delhi and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted about it. “Karl Rock, a New Zealand origin Delhiite donated plasma at Delhi govt’s plasma bank. You must watch his video about his experience. I am sure this will encourage many more to come forward to donate their plasma and help save lives,” wrote the CM.
