After a profitable cricketing profession for nearly 16 years, former Indian captain MS Dhoni is now getting involved in numerous standard and unconventional actions. One such enterprise is farming in his farmhouse in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Dhoni has been growing organic fruits and vegetables in a 10-acre area in his 43-acre farmhouse in Ranchi.
The vegetables and fruits grown on Dhoni’s farmhouse include cabbages, tomatoes, strawberries, peas and papaya. The cabbages and tomatoes from Dhoni’s farm have an enormous demand in Ranchi’s local market.
After starting a poultry business, by ordering a batch of 2000 black Kadaknath chickens at his organic poultry unit located in Ranchi last year, vegetables from Dhoni’s farmhouse located at Ring Road in Sembo village are set to be exported to Dubai.
The Agriculture Department of Jharkhand has taken the responsibility to ship the vegetables to Dubai, and negotiations for the consignment of vegetables are said to be in the final stage.
All Season Farm Fesh agency has been selected to sell Dhoni’s farm vegetables in Dubai, which is the same agency through which the Department of Agriculture has already sent several consignments of vegetables to the Gulf countries.
