Kangana Ranaut kicked off a Twitter storm by reacting to the Mumbai Mirror report that Urmila Matondkar was buying a Rs 3 crore office space in Mumbai, a few months after joining Shiv Sena.
On Sunday, the Manikarnika actor shared a news clipping about Matondkar’s new purchase. Ranaut wrote in Hindi, “Dear @UrmilaMatondkar ji maine jo khud ki mehnat se ghar banaye woh bhi Congress tod rahi hai, sach mein BJP ko khush karke mere haath sirf 25-30 cases he lage hain, kash main bhi aapki tarah samajhdar hoti toh Congress ko khush karti, kitni bevakoof hoon main, nahin?”
“(The house that I made with my hard-earned work are being demolished by the Congress. And all I got from making the BJPs happy were just 25-30 court cases. I wish I was as smart as you and made the Congress happy instead. I am so stupid, right)?”

Ranaut also shared a fan-made video of how she ‘busted’ Matondkar.
All this transpired when a news piece in Mumbai Mirror wrote, “actor-turned-politician who, after a short stint with the Congress, has bought office premises for Rs 3.75 crore in a posh commercial complex in Khar area.”
Reacting to the insinuation, Matondkar posted a video on her social media stating that she sold a flat in March, and bought the office space from the proceeds. Calling the news daily as Godi Media (sold media channels to one Party) she added that she has never stooped to use underhanded tactics in her long career.
The earlier tweet also did not go unnoticed as the Rangeela star called out Ranaut. Matondkar said that she would gladly show her documents of transactions she did to buy the office space. Even Ranaut should name the people, which she “promised” she would give to the Narcotics Control Bureau in return for Y-plus security, Matondkar added.
