Kohima: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi being rated as the highest among world leaders in a survey conducted by a US data firm, BJP National Spokesperson, in-Charge of BJP Mizoram and MLA Nagaland Mmhonlumo Kikon, hailed the premier’s leadership.
“Our PM has yet again emerged the most popular head of Government for his efficient handling of various issues and management of the COVID-19 crisis,” the legislator said. As per the recent analysis by Morning Consult, a US-based survey research firm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has seen a rise in popularity amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The survey showed that 75 per cent of the people supported Modi, while 20 per cent did not accept him, leading to an overall approval rating of 55 per cent which is the highest.
Kikon said that ever since the Modi-led government came into power, “people’s trust in the government and the faith that nation is progressing in the right direction has risen drastically”.
Hailing Modi, Kikon said that this rating is a testimony of his able leadership, hard work and is a thing of pride for all Indians. While the premier’s popularity rises “unabated across all demographic groups & geographic regions” of the country, Kikon said that he is also getting a “thumbs up globally for his dedication to his country,” being ranked number one among all global leaders during the challenging times.
