In order to reduce the inconvenience of travelling public due to late running of trains owing to foggy weather and also to manage the train operations during foggy season, NF railway has decided to cancel some trains starting from Wednesday.
· Train No. 05909/05910 Dibrugarh – Lalgarh daily express special leaving from Dibrugarh will remain cancelled w.e.f.16-12-2020 up to 31-01-2021 and leaving from Lalgarh will remain cancelled w.e.f.19-12-2020 up to 03-02-2021.
· Train No. 05933/05934 Dibrugarh – Amritsar weekly express special leaving from Dibrugarh will remain cancelled w.e.f.22-12-2020 up to 26-01-2021 and leaving from Amritsar will remain cancelled w.e.f.25-12-2020 up to 29-01-2021.
· Train No. 02549/02550 Kamakhya – Anand Vihar daily express special leaving from Kamakhya will remain cancelled w.e.f.16-12-2020 up to 31-01-2021 and leaving from Anand Vihar will remain cancelled w.e.f. 18-12-2020 up to 02-02-2021.
· Train No. 05483/05484 Alipurduar – Delhi daily express special leaving from Alipurduar will remain cancelled w.e.f. 16-12-2020 up to 31-01-2021 and leaving from Delhi will remain cancelled w.e.f.18-12-2020 up to 02-02-2021.

However, NF Railway also decided to continue services of four Festival Special trains, details of which can be found below
· The services of Train No. 02343 Sealdah – New Jalpaiguri Special which was notified to run up to 31-12-2020 is now extended up to 31-01-2021.Train No. 02344 New Jalpaiguri – Sealdah Special which was notified to run up to 01-01-2021 is now extended up to 01-02-2021.
· The services of Train No. 03141 Sealdah – New Alipurduar Special which was notified to run up to 31-12-2020 is now extended up to 31-01-2021.Train No. 03142 New Alipurduar – Sealdah Special which was notified to run up to 01-01-2021 is now extended up to 01-02-2021.
· The services of Train No. 03173 Sealdah – Agartala Special which was notified to run up to 31-12-2020 is now extended up to 31-01-2021.Train No. 03174 Agartala – Sealdah Special which was notified to run up to 02-01-2021 is now extended up to 02-02-2021.
· The services of Train No. 03175 Sealdah – Silchar Special which was notified to run up to 30-12-2020 is now extended up to 30-01-2021.Train No. 03176 Silchar – Sealdah Special which was notified to run up to 01-01-2021 is now extended up to 01-02-2021.
· Revised timings of Balurghat – Malda Town Passenger Special: Train No. 05422/05421 Balurghat – Malda Town daily passenger special leaving from Balurghat w.e.f. 17-12-2020 and from Malda Town w.e.f. 18-12-2020 will run with revised timings.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are also available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway. Passengers are requested to consult these details and follow the COVID-19 protocols being notified by the state governments before undertaking journey.
