The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications to recruit as many as 8,500 apprentices in various zones for three years. Candidates can fill the application forms online by visiting the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in. The window for application opened on Friday, November 20 and the last date to apply is December 10. Soon after this, the SBI will be releasing the admit cards for the written exam.
The examination to shortlist the candidates for the apprenticeship posts will be conducted by the authority in the month of January next year. There will be no interview post the written test and the screened candidates will have to appear and qualify a local language test instead.
There is an age as well as education criteria at a place for the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020. All candidates must be within the age group of 20 to 28 as on October 31, 2020. A relaxation in the maximum age can be managed for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates as per Government of India guidelines. On the other hand, every applicant must have completed their graduation from a recognised university or institute before October 31, 2020.
While General candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 300, there is no such fee applicable for reserved category candidates. There is a stipend allotted for the apprentices. During the first year, the amount has been set at Rs 15,000 per month, for the second year, the stipend will be Rs 16,500. In the third year of apprenticeship, the candidates will receive Rs 19,000 as a monthly stipend.
