Weight issues are cropping up more than ever because of a static lifestyle where most people spend a considerable amount of time sitting and working on laptops.
With work-from-home becoming the norm, the routine movement of traveling to the office, which required expenditure of energy, has also been eliminated. This has exacerbated the weight issues for everyone — including men.
But don’t worry because as a man, weight loss for you is faster than it is for women. The metabolic rate of men is higher than women. They have leaner muscles which make it easier for men to lose weight faster.
On this International Men’s Day, we bring weight-loss tips for men who are busy working. These tips are simple and easy-to-do for those who want to reduce their weight but don’t have enough time. Let’s take a look:
Sleep well

Not sleeping enough can cause an increase in weight. Some studies say that lack of sleep can cause an increase in the levels of the hunger hormone known as ghrelin. The satiety hormone called leptin that inhibits hunger gets reduced due to the lack of sleep. Just sleeping enough (a minimum of six hours) can make your body healthier.

Light exercise

There is a misconception that working out harder can only help you lose weight. One must always remember that some exercise is always better than not exercising at all. Between your work hours, take up any light exercise to perform for a few minutes. It could be as simple as walking after taking a meal or just skipping elevators and using stairs.
Consume Protein

It is essential to take protein in order to succeed in your weight-loss efforts. Proteins not only promote the growth of lean muscle mass, but they also suppress appetite while increasing your metabolism, which simply means that you burn more calories.
