Kangana Ranaut in war of words with 22-year-old artist on Twitter

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has sparked many controversies since she has joined Twitter and this time around, Ranaut went after an artist Priyanka Paul.

On Paul’s Tweet where she opened up about the fact that there are many depressing thoughts that she faces, Ranaut replied by calling her “suicidal, toxic and creepy looking”. She also commented on Priyanka’s hairstyle and asked her to meditate.

Ranaut has often made statements about mental health that are considered insensitive. She called Deepika Padukone, who has been vocal about her mental health struggle, as ‘depression ki dukaan’ and made the claim that drug abuse causes depression.

This controversial comment was made by Ranaut because Paul had previously called the Manikarnika actor for ridiculing reservation.

Kangana started attacking IPS officer D Roopa Moudgil when the Twitter handle of ‘True Indology’ was suspended by the platform after it got into an argument with Moudgil.

The Bollywood actress is running a campaign for the restoration of True Indology’s account and accused Moudgil of “threatening and intimidating youngsters.”

She went to the extent of calling Moudgil incompetent and said that it is the side effect of reservations that unworthy and undeserving get power.

Paul had posted a screenshot of the actor’s tweet and had modified the latter’s tweet calling Kangana entitled upper caste person.

Many people came to support Priyanka after she was subjected to trolling by Ranaut and her followers. Hiba Beg, a journalist commented, “Pick on someone your own age Kangana. Shameful.”

While another user said that the mother of toxicity is advising others to do meditation. “Irony just died a thousand deaths.”
