1. Snake Plant
Snake plants don’t need extensive care and are easy to look after. This plant can survive without water for many days and is also good for low light areas. You can easily put this plant in their home or office space without having to worry much.
2. Aloe Vera
Popular amidst people for its healing properties, Aloe Vera is a favourite plant in many households. Place this plant in a space of your home that receives abundant sunlight and it will bloom with ease.
3. Blooming orchids
If you want to add some vibrant colours to your living room, an orchid plant is definitely the right choice. Although these plants do require some maintenance, they surely are pleasing to the eyes. Also, they are said to be air purifiers.
4. Money Plants
Money plants are another common favourites in many people’s household. They can be planted in both water and soil. However, upon placing them in water, the water should be changed from time to time.
5. Areca Plant
Areca palms are typically sold as clustered plants in small pots incase of indoor plants. Their appearance is similar to palm grass. They need bright light and are sensitive to the buildup of fertilizer salts. It needs to be watered frequently.
6. Chinese Evergreen Plant
This plant grows in low lights and should not be put in direct sunlight. It needs to be watered only once a week and kept in a room of ambient temperature.
7. Peace lily
Peace lilies can be placed in bathrooms and kitchens along with other rooms, since it is known to eliminate mold spores. They appear classy and delicate in appearance and survive in low lighting conditions.
Ficus is a native to South East Asia and it grows indoors between two and ten feet tall. They prefer direct sunlight and need to be watered weekly.
9. English Ivy
English Ivy grows well in small pots and looks great in hanging baskets. They prefer to be crowded. One can even propagate a cutting in water for a few days.
10. Rubber Plants
Rubber Plants grow well in bright filtered lights. The pattern of watering these plants is every fifteen days in winter and weekly in summer. It can be grown in a small pot as well as encouraged to grow into a large indoor tree.
