Gionee is gearing up for the launch of M12, after the launch of Gionee M12 Pro, in September. The specifications of the upcoming phone have appeared on the Google Play Console listing.
The listing mentioned a Gionee phone with model number H603B, which Google Play Support informed to be associated with Gionee M12. While the price and release date are not yet known, going by the specifications mentioned on Google Play Console it is predicted Gionee M12 will be an entry-level device.
According to the listing, Gionee M12 specifications will include the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM options. The smartphone will come with a 720p display and the render next to the specs suggests a corner punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The Gionee M12 is listed running on Android 10 instead of the newer Android 11.
The Gionee M12 is anticipated to go official by this year. It stays unclear if the company has any plans of launching the handset in India.
