Put into bat first after losing the toss, the Chennai Super Kings got off to one of the worst starts in the history of IPL as they were recuded for 3/4 inside the first three overs, courtesy some brilliant bowling from Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah up front as both of ripped through the Chennai top order.

The Chennai innings started getting only worse as they kept on losing wickets with very little to show on the scorecard. Sam Curran, although he kept losing partners at the other end, played a fighting knock of 52 off 47 balls bringing up his first half-century in the season as he took CSK to 114/9 at the end of their 20 overs, from a position where even reaching the 100-run-mark looked difficult.

Trent Boult was bowled an outstanding spell as he picked up four important wickets giving away just 18 runs in his four overs.

Coming out to chase a pretty low total, the Mumbai Indians did it with absolute ease as Quinton e Kock and Ishan Kishan added an unbeaten 116-runs for the first wicket, thus winning the game for Mumbai by 10 wickets and 46 balls to spare.

Ishan Kishan was absolutely brutal with the bat as he smashed a fiery 68 not-out of just 37 balls, and was very well supported by Quinton de Kock with a classy 46 not-out off 37 balls.
