According to health department, there are 583 active cases in the state while a total of 1,002 people have already recovered.

The recovery rate on Monday was recorded at 63.22 per cent, which is lower than the national average of 79.68 per cent.

A health department official said that the state’s recovery rate is lower than the national record because it follows strict discharge protocols as Covid-19 patients are discharged only when they are declared fully recovered by treating doctors.
