US President Donald Trump on many occasions has described climate change as “mythical”, “nonexistent”, or “an expensive hoax”. He has once again enraged environment activists by suggesting that global warming will reverse itself.

Trump is visiting Sacramento in central California, the region witnessing massive wildfires. He made this statement in a briefing with local officials.

“It will start getting cooler. You just watch,” Donald Trump told Wade Crowfoot, head of the California Natural Resources Agency.

“I wish science agreed with you,” retorted Crowfoot, who went on to Tweet and said, “It actually won’t get cooler, Mr. President” over a graph showing relentlessly rising temperatures in California since the 1980s.

Reacting to this challenger Joe Biden called Trump a “climate arsonist”.
