Guwahati: Independent filmmakers now have an extended opportunity as the dates for submitting scripts for the first Atvi Indie Talent Grant, 2020 has been extended till September 23.
The grant by Atvi Studios, a unit of Atvi Infotainment, aims to promote young and talented filmmakers from across the country. Selected persons will be eligible for funding of Rs 1,00,000 and mentorship from Industry bigwigs.
Maximum three scripts under the topics: stories or experiences from Northeast India; inspirational stories and experiences; and open house, will be chosen through a process.
Aspirants will have to submit the synopsis of their script for a film which is under 30 minutes in duration. The owner or author must submit the script, and the material must be an original, previously unpublished one.
Selected persons will be under the mentor from renowned persons of the industry who will guide them through the production process. Also, there is no submission fee.
