Shillong: With the new normal, virtual conference has become a norm to conduct meetings and other similar programmes. Not to be left behind, a college in Meghalaya is joining hands with two other institutions from Karnataka and Mumbai to host an international virtual conference on ‘Identity: Myths, Memories, Communication and Cultural Narratives’ on November 28 and 29.
The e-conference will be organised by the Department of Mass Media, St Anthony’s College, Shillong; Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Central University of Karnataka; and the Department of Mass Media, SVKM Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai.
The international virtual conference is set to bring together established academicians/professionals as guest speakers while inviting paper presentations from other scholars and academic professionals both from India and overseas.

The last date for the abstract submissions from interested participants is September 10. The keynote speaker for the conference is Prof Sangeeta Bagga-Gupta, Professor-Chair, School of Education and Communication, Jönköping University, Sweden.
