A few days ago, President Trump had said that a COVID-19 vaccine could be available by November 3, just before the presidential election.

United States President Donald Trump while attending a Republican National Convention, said that the country would get its first safe and effective coronavirus vaccine by this year.

“We have three different vaccines in the final trial stage. We are producing them in advance so that many doses are available. We will have a safe and effective vaccine this year. Together, we will crush the virus,” said President Trump during the convention.

A few days ago, President Trump had said that a COVID-19 vaccine could be available by November 3, just before the presidential election. While speaking to the reporters, Trump said that a vaccine release around the time of election would cause no harm, but the intention here is to save lives.

The mounting pressure to develop a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible has intensified leading to government and pharma companies raising awareness to ensure that their efforts to develop an effective vaccine are not derailed by public distrust.
